About leak of personal information

When I take a spam mails or text messages, it is tiresome things for me to take the calls or message and delete it. I would like to delete every ID including my social security number, address and phone number when I take this kind of spam. And also I am curious how, where my personal information are used.

In South Korea most websites demand for concrete personal information even though they don’t need them surely. The one reason that I heard why they collect our personal information like social security number or phone number is they use these things for marketing, to compiling statistics or analyze members who join their websites. The matter is bigger that information would leak to others that use these with the purpose of making money with fraud. I think Korean famous major websites should lead to discard personal information and also basically they should not demand for these to protect these cases.

Long time ago I read a article that Korean government would make another security number per one person for using only online. (I think it is digital certification) It is good method to reduce personal information spill. And these things should be more active so that major websites would use this method like bank websites. In my case I drop out websites that I don’t need to anymore like online shop or other community club like naver, daum’s cafe. I think there are not perfect way to protect personal information spill but the best way to protect is to monitor own personal information and not to join uncertificated websites.

About Design Seoul Project

Every time I watched changing of public design of Seoul, I think Se-hoon Lee who plans to Design Seoul had done right things. In my case I often go to Han River Park to ride a bicycle or exercise more than ever. And watching different designed taxi or changed sign in subway stations, I thought Seoul finally start to look for its own brand identity and to think convenience of Seoul citizen. Surely it is true that Seoul become looks better than ever. I think it was a important policy that somebody have to administer and proper timing for Seoul jumping to be a global city to start Seoul’s city design.

But problems always follow after processing in a short time. It has been just five years since the Design Seoul Project take effect. But there are a lot of outputs relating Design Seoul. We can see changed Seoul everywhere. For better or not, government of Seoul break down and construct whatever even though there was not time to estimate or self-reflect.  I think it is very danger plans can make strange Seoul.

So Government of Seoul will be supposed to design truly for Seoul citizen, not just for ‘showing’ because city design is not a work that can end up in a short time. So rather than pouring a huge investment into Design Seoul Project at once government will have to make sustainable city for next generation having a long time. I want new mayor, Won-soon Bak also do this project little by little not throwing way it.

My opinion about overfishing

 I can learn about overfishing that is easy to be ignored to us. Actually I have naver recognized overfishing before Morgan's presentation. Among the various problem I feel sympathy about cruel method of fishing like using bomb.

Sometimes we can see people who would like to protect animal don't eat meat by reason of cruelty of slaughter. We just take care of animal on the ground. But there are another animal in sea. We have forgotten these existence. Using bomb is unethical method to fish but also disturbing another living things in sea.  It can finally destroy marine ecosystem.  It is neccesary to retrict cruel method of fishing in range of preventing marine ecosystem.

There are many problem relating overfishing. It is  hard not to eat fishing but I would like to think more when I eat fish since this presentation. And also I think it is important that consumer always be self-conscious when they buy fish, where or where they came, or how they are grabbed.
